Nope, I was just wrong! It makes sense though that it still fell apart and decayed considering the moisture content and especially if they didn't do a good job of coating it. Right, but this looks like just a generic cheap hot dog bun. If this were home-baked, or from a more expensive brand then I wouldn't expect preservatives. It looks like a New England style Split Top bun. For whatever reason, I consider them a step up from the generic buns, even though they probably are made in the same facility that mass produces the typical generic bun. A guy at my work has a donut his coworkers sealed in resin when he left. That was 15 years ago. The resin looks old and stained, but the donut looks like a donut. How did you know to do that? Was there a prototype hot dog before this one? Tell me your secrets revolving around hot dog man.can you set up a camera and a timer to show how long it's been in the resin, so we can watch it 24 hours a day?
