Since The Day My Dad Got His Wings I Have Never Been The Same Shirt

As an armchair scientist, I'm going to guess it has something to do with sudden bouts of happiness, and especially laughter, making us more vulnerable so we have evolved to make an intimidating face. But like I said, I'm just an armchair scientist. And my chair only has one arm. Imim gonna guess that its because our teeth aren't our weapons, but they are for other animals. But many humans will ball their fists up when they are angry, displaying their weapons It’s thought to be an “expensive signal”, like a peacock’s tail. They lose a lot of heat through it and the message is “if I can afford to waste all this body heat, I must be a strong & healthy mate.” My middle son was about 3-1/2 months old when my mom passed away from breast cancer. She was in the delivery room when he was born, and spent several days helping us with him and my oldest while I recovered. She always seemed to have a special bond with him, and she was the first person to get a “real” smile out of him (not just bubbles). For several months after she passed, he would stare off into space, and suddenly grin and/or coo. We’re convinced she was there, still making him smile.
