In Ann Arbor is trying to trend toward that I'm all for it... if they can do it without making traffic a mess. The restaurant thing is downtown on Main, State, Maynard, and parts of Liberty. It's also just on the weekends, except Maynard which is all the time. The healthy road thing extends a little further and is all the time... Packard for example, as well as areas of State and Main St and stuff. All those random barriers blocking off lanes that look like someone is about to start construction, that's for bikes and walking now
