 Like someone else has mentioned, tigers are actually one of the few things that a war face might work on, but only because most big cats prefer to attack from behind. Although you might have stumbled on to the fact that of the big cats/ambush predators, tigers are the least likely to care if their ambush approach is noticed by people, that is, the most likely to still rip your face off. They would prefer if you didn't know they were there, but if they're close enough or pissed off enough, eh, they'll give it a go anyway. True, it's just a lot less likely for a single monkey of that sort of size. You're right though, it's less probably not than probably wouldn't choose to try unless we really backed them into a corner. But yeah. Teeth. True, always assume the worst just in case. Highly unlikely with tigers specifically unless it was a mum and older juvenile that she was teaching to hunt, maybe? Also, although it would suck for the individual being ambushed, I would love if there was always a second cat around as the numbers of many are so poor these days, it's not very likely. More big cats, please!
