Trumps’ base doesn’t want to be educated because they would have to re-evaluate their core beliefs and values to address their cognitive dissonance. This would be a fate worst than death because this would be mean the death of their identity. All their conspiracy theories and baseless assumptions would be meaningless. They would discover they are nothing but rubes in a giant con cabal known as the Republican Party.No body wants to feel like they've been conned. Easier to just keep your beliefs that everything is as you believe.
