It's so bullshit, one small-town mayor cut taxes a few years ago and then asked the state to pay for their sewer system. It's funny because so many downstate Illinoisans wish that Chicago was its own state. They believe the conservative lies that the rest of the state is holding Chicago up when it is entirely the opposite. Texas is a little different. West Texas Oil is a huge part of the Texas economy and those areas are very red.

 I'm sure this is debatable and everyone has their own preferences - but I think Hispanic people, pound for pound, tend to be some of the strongest everyday life people. It’s just benign cancer... until it’s malignant. These last four years have shown the uneducated south as metastatic.
