My father was furious, that his taxes were going to bailout NYC. Now I think it has turned. Things have turned for my beloved Buffalo NY. Our waterfront is way nicer with help from state money. Buffalo River is less toxic thanks to money from the Niagara power authority. Rented a car and drove some friends upstate the other weekend to go apple picking. We were about an hour and a half to two hours north of the city. We made a whole day of it, went to a restaurant for lunch, then the apple orchard farm, followed by a cider house with a tap room. And while we did see some Trump signs, we saw at least an equal number (if not more) Biden signs or Bye-Don signs which were pleasantly surprising.
