 I was incredibly depressed as a teenager and, I kid you not, this show pulled me out of a rut. I was also a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy who struggled to be the best in class. I was also dealing with my sexuality which I saw akin to the “thing” inside Naruto that made people hate him. Started Naruto a bit before quarantine started and am currently on episode 100 something of boruto. The Boruto series reminds me of a lot of the early episodes of naruto before Shippuden. Hopefully, they follow the same steps and give boruto his “Shippuden” to make his story better Naruto was such a trip. Unlike other long-running shows, the cast kind of grew up with you. I was 10-13 when Naruto was a Genin. When Naruto was in his 15-16, I was also experiencing teenagehood. Now he's an adult with responsibilities like me! Albeit I don't have a 13-year-old kid, but still.
