Started highschool in 2008/2009 graduated in 2013. Both parents lost their jobs in 2009. parents divorced due to financial strains. College fund was eaten by divorce attorneys, and spent my freshman and sophomore year testifying in family court. Should have finished my degree in 2017. But decided to get into real estate instead of working 50 hours a week to pay for college and the college work load lead me to work without a day off for almost 4 years. Have done well so far landing at the top 10% of my brokerage last year, and on my way to my broker's license in two states while still planning on finishing my degree once everything in life and in the economy has stabled out. Luckily I'm financially in an okay spot. While I didn't meet my predicted financial goals this year due to the majority of my investors holding tight until this all blows over, I'm not in debt of any sort and I still did okay this year all things considered. The real tragedy is that not all, if not the majority of those my age can say the same. Whether laid off or underemployed from the start, the debt to income ratios felt currently of those of my age bracket at the beginning of their careers could affect their financial trajectory permanently down the road.

 I'm sure this is debatable and everyone has their own preferences - but I think Hispanic people, pound for pound, tend to be some of the strongest everyday life people. It’s just benign cancer... until it’s malignant. These last four years have shown the uneducated south as metastatic. We need to intervene in states that are f-ing the rest of the country, especially since they’ve shown nothing they do is in good faith. I would let hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes be president. He was a hard-working son of a plumber who made his dream come true. This current guy? Not so much. One of my best friends grew up in a semi-homophobic and ultra-religious family. Within 6 months of attending college, he became super liberal, atheist, and doesn't give a fuck about orientation as long as you're happy. Happened to me and my husband. We both grew up in pretty rural backward-ass areas full of hateful, self-spiting Trump voters. I never totally identified with it, but he definitely leaned conservative with his upbringing.
